My theoretical approach is eclectic. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and many other approaches, depending on what suits your situation.
Life can be messy, beautiful, sad, inspiring and so many other things. When we are flexible in our expectations and rooted in our values, we can navigate the ups and downs in life with more ease.
I know how overwhelming life can be at times.
I know that change can seem impossible.
Sometimes we are barely holding it together and need help. Counselling can help.
I have my Masters Degree in Counselling, am registered in BC as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and have gathered years of experience helping clients navigate the stresses of life.
As I partner with you on your journey, my goal is:
to provide space for you to reflect on where you are
to help you identify what you value
and to take manageable steps towards living a life that feels less stressful, more meaningful and authentic, and more at ease.
Clients come to me seeking help for:
living with chronic pain
navigating work and life stress (expectations, relationships)
getting along with their spouse when life is overwhelming
anxiety and exhaustion
caring for older parents or a family member with illness
feeling unsettled and dissatisfied with life
You are not alone. I can partner with you through this.
